A Tour Of The New Digs

Sunday, May 4, 2014

Happy Sunday, everyone! I'm off to my first 5B show at iO, but before I go wanted to share a few photos of the new digs. Keep in mind it's still a work in progress... But at least it's starting to feel like a home.

Space is obviously limited in Chicago, but I was determined to have a little writing nook. All in all, I'm happy with this little corner of mine. Alexander Payne is pretty much my idol so I'm hoping this Nebraska poster will give me a little inspiration on those days when the words just won't come.

And I'm a big fan of exposed brick.

Photos of the bedrooms and kitchen will have to wait... There's still some work to be done. Enjoy the last of your Sunday!

  14. It's so pretty! I love the exposed brick... but how do you hang things on there?? Do you nail holes into the whatever the stuff is that's in between the bricks? Or is there some other trick that I don't know about because I'm not cool enough for exposed brick? I NEED TO KNOW.
