Apple Craisin Pumpkin Bread

Monday, October 13, 2014

Alright you guys, Monday is in full force. My pals are still in town and I'm struggling to get into my normal routine right now. You know how that goes, right? They fly out tomorrow and then two days later more friends and family arrive for the weekend. So it's going to be a crazy week. Very fun, but a bit crazy. And then next Tuesday I leave for New York! Woo.

Anyway, today I'm sharing with you a super easy pumpkin bread recipe. Whenever Chris and I have friends come stay with us I always like to make some sort of yummy bread that we can munch on while everyone wakes up (and while we wait to get our Bloody Marys.)

So while my pal Roy and her boyfriend Goldie have been in town, I made this pumpkin bread. Not from scratch, no no, from something even better. This $2.50 mix from Trader Joe's. Can a box mix be a "recipe?" Let's say yes today.

In my opinion, the secret to taking a mix from good to great is just adding a ton of other stuff. Like for example with this mix I just added a bunch of chopped apples, craisins, and an assortment of nuts. Always more fruit and nuts.

Like I said, it's super easy and it's super cheap, just follow what Mr. Trader says to do. And that's pretty much it. Can't wait to see all of the other yummy food ideas popping up today!

  8. If you want to watch movies, play games or listen to music continuously, consider that your battery life will be much shorter. Adjusting the brightness can help to lengthen your battery life. You’ll probably see that maximum brightness is not necessary to use your iPad.
