Wish Me Luck

Something crazy happened this past weekend in Chicago. The snow started to melt. And it was wonderful. The entire city is covered in a thick layer of brown icy mush and it’s just beautiful.
To celebrate the nice weather Harlow and I set out in our rain boots and walked around for a solid two hours listening to the Serial podcast. I know I’m late to the show on this one, but that’s nothing new. I have only 20 minutes left in the last episode and I know the case isn’t solved. So who killed Hae? Adnon or Jay? ADNON OR JAY?

Beyond helping solve crimes from the late 90s, I’m also in the midst of rolling out a new blog design soon. If there’s one thing bloggers love more than coffee and stupid selfies, it’s new blog layouts. I’m just as guilty. I get jollies thinking about refreshing this little space of mine. That being said, here is a stupid selfie (you can’t see the coffee, but it’s there) plotting the new design.

And I’m proud to say I scored these jeans for $20 on sale at the Urban outlet by my house. But as my dad would say, “I don’t know why you’d pay anything at all for those jeans, they’re ripped.” Well said dad, well said.
And then I took a break to bathe myself in these cheap cheap delicious sugar cookies. These little babies are a Target/Walmart delicacy. I only treat myself to them twice a year: Halloween and Valentines Day. I like to disguise my poor taste in desserts with my love for random holidays.

I tried to limit myself to only two per day. I think there’s only two left at this point.

I didn’t mean to turn this post into a foodie post, but here we are. Sweet Harlow thought this Kuma’s burger was for him. Bless his heart.

Promptly after eating this massive hunk of burger I made the decision to start working out. For real this time. I downloaded a workout routine and my new life starts today.

So wish me luck. It’s a 12 week “fitness plan” and I’m really hoping I can stick with it for more than a day. On that note, I guess it’s time to start those mountain climbers and burpees… Like I said, wish me luck.

Ugh.
