336 Months – a birthday update

Here’s the thing you guys, my friends are always giving me updates about their babies every month via cute little posters they make, so I figured I should return the favor and give everyone an update on me and my progress.

-Beside the head injury I suffered a few weeks ago which set me back a bit, I’m doing good. I still haven’t mastered walking quite yet and I trip almost once a day on the steps into our apartment causing Chris to say, “walk much?” But I’ll get it!

-My hand eye coordination is improving too. I almost always catch the house keys when they’re thrown at my face.

-I’m still working on getting myself ready in the morning. This is a harder skill to master than I thought it would be. I learned how to officially curl my hair two years ago and just two months ago I learned how to draw on eyebrows, so that’s fun. I even use a real eyebrow pencil now as opposed to my brown eyeliner like I used to think worked okay. It didn’t.

-Depending on how much wine I’ve had, I’m usually able to sleep through the night.

-But boy am I cranky in the morning. Nobody talk to me until I’ve had at least two sippys of coffee.

-I LOVE the swings at the park. But I don’t get to do it often because an adult swinging alone at the park surrounded by children that aren’t their own often just looks like a pervert swinging alone at the park surrounded by children that aren’t their own.

-I also love dogs, bubbles, and bringing cups into the bath.

-My favorite words to say are things that I can’t write on here because my grandma reads. Think of the worst words you know, those are my favorite.

-I have trouble playing with others and am usually the girl at the play group who socializes best with animals or by playing on her own.

-And I drool a lot.

-Overall, I’m a very happy girl. I make the best out of things.

Have a great Friday, everyone!

To sum up how I’ll be behaving all weekend I’ve posted my favorite video that I post every year on my birthday. I can’t help it, it’s just too fun.
