Somewhere in the past month I found my running legs. They’ve been missing for awhile, but they’re back.
Every day around noon Harlow and I go to our favorite park and run for about 45 minutes. He clocks around 10 miles, I probably get 3. He’s able to run off leash (he’s not supposed to but we’re rule breakers so whatever) and for every 1 lap I run, he gets in about 5. It works great for both of us.
I’m not training for anything specific (just a future wedding…) but the most recent app I’ve been using is the North Face Training App.
There’s a ton of different workout plans you can choose. I’ve chosen the 6 week running program. There’s also the general fitness, alpine climb, and skiing to name just a few more.
The plans come with video tutorials, workout guides, and timers to keep you on task.
The running plan that I’ve chosen is specifically designed to gain strength and speed. I don’t care so much about the speed (because I’m already super fast, duh) but I like all of the other exercises geared toward gaining strength.
You can tailor the workouts so they fit you and what you want to achieve.
