as I so desperately wanted to when I was 10 years old (16)...
I live in Chicago with my boyfriend Chris, and our incredibly clingy dog, Harlow.
We were both born and raised in Nebraska, but now we're "big city."
So I have to stop saying "big city" ASAP.
I'm a little bit sarcastic, a tiny bit cynical, sometimes offensive (according to who?!)
and yet with all these qualities working against me I'm out to live the best life I can.
I think it was all of the Tony Robbins tapes my dad had me listen to every night
before bed from the ages of 7- 12 that instilled such a strong sense of
"I can do anything" into me.

I just have to figure out what that is. Right now I know I just love to write.
I've been rejected in all areas of the literary world- novels, screenplays, short stories, children's books, you name it and I have a rejection letter.
One of these days I'll get it right and you'll be seeing my cleverly titled book on clearance at Wal Mart.

One more thing, I love to play the lottery. And I am 100% genuinely shocked/disappointed whenever I don't win. But I'm feeling real good about tonight's drawing...
