My Dream Charity- The Harlow Foundation

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Create the Good for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

If there’s two things I like I talking about, it’s saving dogs and going after my dreams. I’ve just recently taught myself the difference between just dreaming and actually doing…

Even if you’ve only read a few posts of mine you’ve certainly come across both of these things. I talk about it a lot because it’s my passion. It’s the happy thoughts that get me through long winter days here in Chicago.

When Create the Good asked me to make a video about my dreams AND saving dogs, I was all over it. Technically, they didn’t ask me to create a video about those two things specifically, but that’s where I ran with it.

Right now Create The Good is asking people submit videos for their Create the Good Dream Builder Video Contest. If you’re someone who wants to give back to your community or someday start your own charity, this is your chance.

-What is your dream?
-What are you currently doing to achieve this?
-How would you like to help your community?
-Why are you passionate about this?

It should come as no surprise that I spoke about my dream to start The Harlow Foundation, a rescue sanctuary for animals of all sorts. A place for animals to stretch their legs, get happy and healthy, and then hopefully find their forever home. I know I’ll need a lot of land, money, and hard work to do this. But it’s my dream, so I’m going to keep planning it until I figure out how to make it a reality.

What is your dream? What would you like to contribute to make the world a better place?

Submit your own video by February 7th and you could win $2500 to a charity of your choice. Three runner-ups will also be rewarded $500.

When the Powerball was a thing last week I kept saying it'd be awesome to start my own foundation if I won, that said you don't need 1.3B or whatever to start a charity, it's mostly a lot of hard work and dedication! I hope you start your foundation one day 🙂 love this post!

I love your dream! In fact, my daughter and I talked about the "if we win the lottery" dreams and ours was to buy our own rescue ranch and run that together! We work with dog rescues now . . . they sure do steal your heart and then break it when you have to let them go. Love, love, love it!

My dream is being a 911 dispatcher and after a torturous 4 months of tests and applications and waiting I finally got the job! I can't wait to save lives and help people.
