So I’m Doing Okay

I woke up today and there was no coffee.

I repeat, I woke up a on Monday morning after having just returned from a girls trip, and the coffee drawer was empty.

So I said hell no and went back to bed.

I’m kidding, I wanted to do that but because I’ve been gone for a few days I simply didn’t have that novelty. There’s work to be done. So instead Harlow and I walked a few blocks to Dunkin Donuts and got their coffee. Then I spilled half of it on the way home. And the other half was spilled when I got home and tried to get into the back door but couldn’t get my damn keys to work.

So I’m doing okay.

I also cut a t-shirt in half on accident when taking it out of a package this morning. A t-shirt that I was supposed to send to a customer and will now be short one because my inventory on the Day Drink shirts is very low and everyone wants their shirt yesterday.

So I’m doing okay.

Speaking of shirts, I had about 75 packages to mail today but Chris took the car (we’re city folk so we get away with only having one car which is awesome) it’s awesome until you need to take two huge boxes to the post office and you don’t have a car. So instead I tossed all of the shirts into two huge garbage bags and proceeded to walk the four blocks to the post office carrying the bags. And also walking Harlow because he insisted.

Between the fact I look pretty dirty today with hair from Saturday, and was also wearing sweat pants with rain boots, while carrying two huge garbage bags, I’ve never looked so much like an actual garbage person in my life.

So I’m doing okay.

I’ve since put on overalls to make myself feel better. And also so I could put a photo on Instagram because that’s my life. Those sitting down shots are harder than they look, I tell you what. I must have taken 274 pics just to get that stupid angle you see above. And I then I didn’t even post that one because it was just dumb. The gram life is a constant struggle!

The striped flats are from Target and I’m worried they might still be in Scottsdale, damn it.

We stayed at the Westin and I was beyond thrilled to see the pool had a lazy river. I LOVE lazy rivers. And waterslides. I basically love water parks but I can never find anyone to go with me because I’m the only adult I know who still enjoys water parks.

Anyway, it was a weekend full of great laughs, great cocktails, and Codi teaching me how to curl my hair.

These next few weeks are full of even more bachelorettes and weddings because all of my best friends chose the same year to get married. Funny how things work out like that sometimes.

And now it’s time to start the assembly line that is the process of me packing and mailing t-shirts. I fold and Harlow sticks on labels. We’re really a great team.

PS. I just got a ticket to go to the Trump rally in Chicago on Friday…. I’ll keep you updated. Things may get a little hairy. And if you have to ask if I’m a Trump supporter I’m going to assume you don’t me very well.
