Favorite Weekend Bags

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

First of all, THANK YOU for all of the Cuban recs. I got so many emails and messages so thank you, thank you, thank you! It really helps so much.

I've decided to pack a bunch of dog treats and just carry them in my purse with me everywhere we go. I know this probably won't help that much in the big scheme of things, and I'm probably doing it more for me than anyone else... but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. If by the end of the trip I have an entire pack of strays following me around I won't be mad.

I was hoping to write something useful today, like a post about being first-time home owners, or even answering some of the "how do you start your own business" questions I've been getting quite a bit lately, but instead I'm going to write a very helpful post called "My Favorite Weekend Bags."

It's not as bad as it sounds. Who am I kidding, yes it is.

I'm sorry, I'm just having trouble focusing today. For starters, I've been to four banks already this morning looking for euros. I'm an idiot and didn't realize this usually takes 3-5 business days because a bank has to order them in. So instead I'm going to have to head downtown to the one Chase bank in Chicago that has euros on site in the next hour so Chris doesn't get irritated with me for forgetting this one small thing. I can already feel our typical pre-vacay argument brewing. We're so predictable it's adorable. *not adorable.

Traveling is fun.

Ohh I just thought of a new post idea: What We're Like As A Travel Couple! I may have to run this one by him first...

Anyway, humor me and pretend to care about my favorite travel bags for today.

First and foremost, the ESCAPE bag seen above. You can find it here.

I also just stumbled across this Herschel bag that I love. Found here.

This Sole Society bag from Nordstrom.

And I love a good polka-dot bag from Target.

And I've had on my eye on this Longchamp Le Pliage bag forever! It's a little pricey, but the reviews on it are phenomenal. I see it in airports all of the time lately so it must be pretty great.

And that's a wrap. I have to go find some euros! Brb.

  1. My favourite travel bag is just a large backpack. I really like the look of the Hershel bag you mentioned!

  2. I've had my eye on that Longchamp bag too! I have another Longchamp that I love so I really think it might be time to add to the collection.

  3. I have that Longchamp and LOVE it! It technically fits under the seat in front of you so can be counted as your personal item (when it is not expanded).

  4. My life is back!!! After 3 years of broken marriage, my husband left me with three kids. I felt like my life was about to end i almost committed suicide. Thanks to Doctor Ehimen who i met online as i was browsing through the internet, I came across allot of testimonies about him. Some people testified that he brought their Ex lover back, he restores womb, stop divorces, cure cancer and other sickness. I also come across one particular testimony by Sarah who lives in Finland saying how he brought back her Ex husband after 3 years of divorce. After reading all these, I decided to give it a try. I contacted him and explained my problem to him. In just 12 to 16 hours, my husband came back to me pleading and we resolved our issues and we are even happier than before. Doctor Ehimen is really gifted and i will not stop publishing about his good works. If you have any problem, contact him now for he might be the answer to your problems.
